To our international readers, the JUNOs is Canada’s biggest musical awards across all music genres.
This year, the 52nd JUNO Awards show will be held in Edmonton, Alberta and will be hosted by Simu Liu. Also, this year’s nomination leader is The Weeknd with 6, followed by Avril Lavigne and Tate McRae, both with 5.
JunoFest is the precursor to the broadcasted awards show. It is presented by the Canadian Broadcasting Cooperation (CBC) Music and is slated to showcase approximately 50 artists from various genres, representing from across the country at various intimate pubs and entertainment venues.
